Responsibilities:
- Overseeing selection of students for the program.
- Designing the timetable in consultation with the College Timetabler.
- Overseeing the conduct and welfare needs of students.
- Building the capacity of teachers in the program through coaching and coordinated professional learning.
- Representing the Aspire 10 program at forums within the College.
- Providing a monthly report to the Deputy Principal (Learning and Teaching) and Curriculum Leader (9&10) on issues related to the Aspire 10 program.
- With the Deputy Principal (Learning and Teaching) and the Curriculum Leaders, analyse and evaluate school data.
- Ensure Aspire 10 is an effective bridging program to students for suitable pathways.
- Act as the contact between the Aspire 10 program and other staff on issues related to the program.
- Co-ordinate contact between outside groups and the Aspire 10 program.
- To oversee the OH&S components and Operoo involved in Aspire 10 programs and events.
- Provide written reports on the Program when required.
- Initiate and write applications for special funding from government and other outside bodies.
Requirements:
- Committed to the values and ethos of Catholic education
- Successful teaching experience
- Demonstrated the capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- Details of recent post graduate study and/or immediate intentions for future study
- Demonstrated ability to foster and develop appropriate relationships with the staff, students, parents and the wider community
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with teams within the school
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support the educative programs of the school.
- highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varying backgrounds

Position Classification:
- Position: Aspire 10 Coordinator - (2 x POL 1 roles)
- Remuneration: As per CEMEA
- Tenure: January 2026 - January 2029 with the potential for an ongoing teaching position.
- Review: Annual reviews based on self and peer appraisal and goal setting.
